Bionic Beats
Created by DJ Gary Justice and
Daniel Yaryan of Futureman Propaganda.

2001, We threw a New York style party & artists collective with poets, songwriters, and DJ's. We projected indie films on the wall and Gary mixed music for the open mike poets. Guests included poets, writers, musicians, ravers, club kids, bikers, families and the Bionic crew. Being in the shadow of September 11th, we remembered our friends and families on the East Coast, shared stories and created an experience of consciousness, remembrance, and creative expression. Pics show our loft, and DJ's Gary Justice & Mandrake. They and DJ Chris D. rocked our after-hours with Trance, House and Breaks.

2002 highlights included a prayer for peace, Mani Suri's "It came to pass", layered with stirring harmonies and angelic vocals. Thanks to our charities including the MS150 Bike Ride, and special thanks to Christopher from Being Alive for your moving piece about living with AIDS.
Thanks to DJ's Harmony for your beats and playing a remix with Dr Martin Luther king's "I have a Dream" speech. Thanks to ALL the poets that participated and made this a GREAT event. Finally, Thanks to Dan, Shannon, Tracy, Nancy and Mani, the the Bionic Crew, for your Hard work!!!
